Terms of Service
Updated 8/17/18
TOS: CV
All commissioners are asked to read and agree to the following terms. Violating these terms may result in your commission being cancelled, possibly without refund. Please read them carefully and contact me with any questions before requesting a commission. Agreement to these terms constitutes a legal contract.

Payments
Payment is due up-front before work begins.
I accept payment by PayPal invoice only. No e-checks or cash.
If payment and information is not provided within 48 hours of your commission being accepted, your slot may be given to another.
I do not accept payment plans for most commissions, unless otherwise discussed for invoices totaling over $200.

Refunds
I will not refund: completed work, sketches, or incomplete commissions as a result of poor communication.
If a commission is cancelled before the piece is finished, the refund will be calculated by amount of work already completed. Once the artwork is approved any further requests for alterations will be at an additional charge. Mistakes on my part will be fixed without any additional charges.
I reserve the right to issue a full refund and cancel a commission at any time, for any reason.

Deadlines
I will work with deadlines for a rush fee, as this requires me to put your commission ahead of others on my queue. Please note in the commission request form if this applies to you.

Alterations
Any alterations can be made at the sketch stage, including complete redraws. In the case of complete redraws, I reserve the right to reuse discarded sketches for profit or personal purposes.
Problems that are my mistake will always be free (e.g. if I misinterpreted your request, forgot a marking, etc), but please bring these up at the appropriate stage.
No edits will be made after the final commission is approved.
It is the responsibility of the commissioner to provide me with all necessary information to complete the commission. If you alter a character or your idea partway through the commission, there may be a change fee depending on the size of the change.
I will be interpreting your character in my own style, which may result in minor adjustments to colors and markings. Extremely dark or light markings may be adjusted for visibility and contrast. Pieces with detailed shading and backgrounds will typically have an overall color palette and lighting, so your character's colors will look different. This is especially true for very harsh lighting and dark environments. That said, I always do my best to make your character recognizable and consistent.
